I graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree and then went on to earn my Master’s degree at the University of Louisville. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings including: school and home based therapy; out-patient and private practice. I am the founder/owner of Ferris & Associates and specialize in treating Women’s issues, such as: Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders; general anxiety and depression; grief and loss; relationship and career issues. My experience as a childbirth educator has enhanced my ability to treat the needs of post-partum women as they transition into motherhood. This journey is one that is often met with unexpected emotions and I help women identify these feelings so they can resolve issues that may complicate parenthood. I recognize the impact of pregnancy loss and infertility as well, and help my client process through these unique kinds of grief.
