Mary Halladay, LCSW

I have over 25 years experience working with various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, postpartum issues and bipolar disorder. I see individuals aged 12 to 80+. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, grief counseling and working with military members and their families. I am familiar with medical issues that impact mental health including cancer, thyroid issues, diabetes and lyme disease. I advocate for individuals with disabilities and also serve as the clinical adviser of the Hamilton County Depression Bipolar Support Alliance.

Therapy is a process and a journey. It takes courage and commitment. For many people, walking through a counselor's door is a huge step. It can feel hopeful and scary at the same time. For others who already have some experience with therapy, they may be looking for someone who can give a different perspective or address a different issue. My approach to counseling is holistic: mind, body and spirit. My goal is to create a safe environment where trust can build and issues can be addressed.
